Phase 2 Lok Sabha Elections 2019, 17 General Elections 2019 update, In the second phase of polling in the ongoing Lok Sabha election 2019, 13 states and Union Territories (UTs) will witness voting on 18 April. Candidates in 97 parliamentary constituencies will be in the fray in the second phase.
Among the 543 Lok Sabha constituencies of the country, 91 will go for polling on April 11, 2019 during the first phase. During the second phase of polling on April 18, 2019, a total number of 97 constituencies scattered across 13 states and union territories will go for polling.
This phase of the Lok Sabha elections will be conducted in a total of 97 constituencies spread across 13 states. All parliamentary constituencies in Tamil Nadu (39 seats) and Puducherry (one seat) will go for polling in the second phase. The others on the list are: Karnataka (14 constituencies), Maharashtra (10), Uttar Pradesh (8), Assam (5), Bihar (5), Odisha (5), Chhattisgarh (3), West Bengal (3), Jammu and Kashmir (2), and one constituency each from Manipur and Tripura.
According to the Election Commission of India website, following constituencies will be voting on Thursday.
